Sonic Focus began in the 1990's by developing technology to help improve some of the first live concerts to be broadcast via the Internet.  Pioneering musicians were excited about the Internet revolution but were unhappy with the sound of audio after it was compressed for lower bandwidth streaming.  Sonic Focus' artisans and engineers solved this problem by drawing upon decades of studio and acoustic experience that has helped shape the sound of music icons such as Jerry Garcia, Cher, George Winston, Will Ackerman, Carlos Santana, Grateful Dead, and Windham Hill.
